Rules & Regulations
Visiting Hours on Class Days
Parents / Guardians must not stay in the school premises during class hours. They may neither visit the class rooms nor meet their wards or teachers during class hours or during lunch break. Parents will leave their wards at the gate without entering the premises. Parents may 'visit teacher on Wednesdays and Fridays only between 12:50 - 1 :30 pm (pre-primary) and 2:30 - 3:00 pm Primary, after a written request is made in school diary; likewise, teacher may invite parents to meet them through the school diary. An appointment slip will be the gate pass for parents.
Principal: Visiting Hours for Guardians Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8:30 am - 9:30 am. Guardians must bring the duplicate ID card of their ward whenever they come to meet the Principal, teacher about their ward(s) or when they come to take their ward home if the ward falls sick during School Hours.
Play Class : 8.15 am to 11 am
LKG & UKG : 8.15 am to 12.40 pm
STD-I to STD-V : 8.15 am to 2.15 pm
Students must enter school before 8:15 am. Those entering after 8: 15 am need to get clearance from the Principal before going to class.
All Students are strictly forbidden to take tuitions from our school teachers / staff. Those found violating the rules shall be dismissed from the school.
"Remedial Classes" for slow learners will be organized by the School at 2:30 pm. Parents are requested to encourage their wards to attend "Remedial Classes" instead of sending them to Coaching Centers. Four / two wheelers should not drop their children in front of the school gate but on the pavement adjacent the school gate. Parents should not linger near the gate but leave immediately after dropping their ward.
Absence & Tests
Absence, unless truly excusable and proved so, is strongly objected to. However, Parents must not send a sick child to school, not even for tests:
A medical fitness certificate should be produced for 5 and more than 5 days of absence.
Students need to be present for the celebration of national days like Republic day, Independence Day, 'Sports Day, and School Feast Day that are obligatory days.
Students may not be allowed to sit for ensuing test, if they remain absent to study at home before tests.
A student who misses a writing or oral test / examination will not be allowed to appear for the same test later date.
If any student remains absent on the last day before a vacation or on the first day of class after any long vacation, he or she may be charged a fine of Rs.100/-.
If a student is absent for more than 10 days without any prior written notification to the school his name / roll will be struck off from the register. New admission rules prescribed to be followed.
Assembly
The school Assembly will start at 8:15 am sharp. Students must be punctual and must line up for the Assembly by 8: 15 am. Teachers are expected to be with the students at the time of assembly at 8: 15 am and guide the students to the class at 8:35 am sharp. Attendance should be taken in the first period. In case a student is late, the teacher should send the student promptly to Principal's Office to get the Diary signed. After which he / she will be allowed to attend class.
Punctuality
Students must be punctual in attending their classes. Parents/Guardians are requested to extend their full cooperation to the school authorities in ensuring punctuality of their wards.
Late comers: A student who reaches after 8:15 am would need to get clearance from the Principal.
Absentees: The reason for absence must be recorded in the specified page of the school diary signed by the Guardian. Student should get their signed by the Principal or coordinator.
Class Discipline
After the first bell at 8:15 am, at 11:10 am and 12:50pm all the students should enter their respective classes and be seated. With the second bell at 8:20 am and 12:50 pm there must be complete silence. The school assembly is at 8:20 am. While changing classes for Computer / P.T. / Catechism, students must go to the appointed classes in perfect lines and in silence accompanied by the respective teacher. They must return to their classes in the same manner accompanied by the teacher.
Students should not carry mobile phones and other expensive electronics gadgets with them, and if found, it will be seized and returned to the guardians on paying a fine of Rs.500/-.
Care of personal belongings / school property
Students must take proper care of their books and other personal belongings. The school is not responsible for the loss of any personal belongings.
Student must take special care of all school property. Damage caused to school property will be remitted with a fine.
Writing on school wall or on desks must be avoided by all means. Offenders will pay adequate compensation for damage caused to any property of the school.
School Library
Students should keep in mind that "Reading makes a full man". They should develop the habit of reading, systematically and thought fully, the suggested books on different subjects and storing them up carefully in their memory. This way the information will be extensive, accurate and useful.
Silence should be maintained in the library except business with librarian. This also should be done in the low voice.
Students may borrow one book at a time for a period upto one week from the library. Any book not required by another person may be reissue for further one week.
Certain books, magazines, etc. are available for reference in the library only. They are not to be taken home.
Books, Periodicals, magazines, etc., should be treated with care, both in and out of the library. No writing, ink blots, torn paper, marks and the line in books, are tolerated.
Books are issued on the understanding that they are only to be read by persons to whom they are issued and are not given to others whether of school or to outsiders.
Any student who breaks the above rules will have to pay a fine or cost of the lost and damaged books.
